ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE 2023 INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN

Dear Ms. Noriyuki:

PacifiCorp (“Rocky Mountain Power” or the “Company”) hereby submits for filing PacifiCorp’s
amended final 2023 Integrated Resource Plan (“2023 IRP”). The amended final 2023 IRP is also
available electronically on PacifiCorp’s (“Company”) website, at www.pacificorp.com/irp. An
original copy of PacifiCorp’s amended final 2023 IRP will be provided within a few days. The
Company submits this amended final 2023 IRP to replace the preliminary version that was filed
on March 31, 2023 and has been updated to reflect stakeholder feedback and additional
development efforts.

The Company will provide the supporting workpapers for the analyses included in the amended
final 2023 IRP on or around June 15, 2023, which will contain both non-confidential and
confidential work papers.

Confidential information in the amended final 2023 IRP and workpapers will be available to state
regulators and any party who has intervened in this case and signed a non-disclosure agreement.
PacifiCorp requests that interested parties contact the state manager listed below for a copy of the
non-disclosure agreement that must be executed and submitted prior to obtaining a copy of the
confidential information.

Since the initial filing, PacifiCorp has made the following updates:

 Added supplemental sensitivity studies
 Correction to Portfolio 06 (P06) – no forward technology
 Restatement of present value revenue requirement (PVRR) based on model updates
 Addition of two user-requested studies
