NOTICE OF CUSTOMER
HEARING
ORDER NO. 35769
On January 27, 2023, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp (“Company”) filed
an application (“Application”) requesting an order granting a Certificate of Public Convenience
and Necessity (“CPCN”) for Energy Gateway Segment H, the Boardman-to-Hemingway 500-
kilovolt (“kV”) transmission line (“B2H” or “Project”). The Company will co-own B2H with
Idaho Power Company (“IPC”), which recently filed its own CPCN application for the Project in
Case No. IPC-E-23-01.
On February 8, 2023, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 35678. Subsequently, the Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association,
Inc. and Bayer Corporation petitioned to intervene. On February 24, 2023, the Commission granted
intervention to both parties. Order No. 35686. On March 8, 2023, the Commission Secretary issued
a Notice of Parties. On April 5, 2023, the Commission issued a Notice of Modified Procedure and
Notice of Virtual Public Workshop.
NOTICE OF CUSTOMER HEARING
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a customer hearing in
this matter on MONDAY, JUNE 12, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. (MDT) and ending at 9:00
p.m. (MDT), or after all customer testimony has been taken, whichever comes first. The
customer hearing will be held at the Idaho Falls Public Library, 457 W. Broadway Street,
Idaho Falls, ID 83402. Persons attending the hearing in-person will have an opportunity to
provide testimony. Persons may also listen to the live testimony and proceedings at the hearing by
calling 1-415-655-0001, entering code 2465 142 0344, then entering the numeric password: 925
67 866. However, persons will not be able to provide testimony by phone.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission has extended the time that non-
party persons desiring to state a position on this Application may file a written comment explaining
why the person supports or opposes the Application. Non-party persons shall have until June 12,
2023, to file written comments. Comments must be filed through the Commission’s website or by
e-mail unless computer access is unavailable. To comment electronically, please access the
Commission’s website at www.puc.idaho.gov. Click the “Case Comment Form” and complete the
form using the case number as it appears on the front of this document. To file by e-mail, persons
must e-mail the comments to the Commission Secretary and the Company at the e-mail addresses

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that parties comply with Order No. 35375, issued April 21,
2022. Generally, all pleadings should be filed with the Commission electronically and will be
deemed timely filed when received by the Commission Secretary. See Rule 14.02. Service between
parties should continue to be accomplished electronically when possible. However, voluminous
discovery-related documents may be filed and served on CD-ROM or a USB flash drive.
