Comment: "I am wri�ng to express my opposi�on to Rocky Mountain Power's proposal to "modernize
residen�al rates". As Rocky Mountain Power enjoys a monopoly in the area, controlling our energy
usage is the only way consumers have to reduce the cost of their energy bills. Their plan to increase the
base rate customer service charge by over 250% over the next five years severely limits customer
control over their own energy costs, and reduces incen�ves for consumers to use less energy."
