Comment: "I reviewed the informa�on from Rocky Mountain Power. The proposed rate changes
penalize the user who is trying to conserve energy. The flat rate increases to a degree that a user must
use about 837 kWh to break even. Usage under that amount results in an overall price increase. A quick
calcula�on based on my March 2023 usage of 489 kWh shows that (considering the other charges
remain the same) my costs will increase 4.1% the first year, 4.0% the second year, 3.8% the thrid year,
3.5% the forth year, and 3.8% the fi�h year, for an overall increase of 20.65% in the 5 years. This is not a
good plan and I hope it will be rejected."

Comment: "I understand that Rocky Mountain power is trying to up the connec�on fee from $8 a month
to nearly $30 a month for those who have solar panels. This is exorbitant and is penalizing those
producing their own power. This cannot be allowed to happen.."

Comment: "We request the Commission not allow the Rocky Mountain power proposal to be approved.
It should not fall on consumers to "keep overall revenue the same" !!! As part-�me residents we do not
want to pay a higher monthly fee just because we are in the system. We feel the service charge and all
the added fees are high enough. We should only pay for actual usage! Thank you"

Comment: "Rocky Mountain Power proposed modernizing rate change is in effect a large rate increase
on those of us who have elected to add solar panels to our homes. It is a win win for the power
company. They get all extra power we generate at our cost for free while increasing our service cost two
and a half �mes. Had I known this would be the path rocky mountain power was going to choose I would
had never spent the thousands of dollars to install solar panels. A cost that I will never be able to
recover with the proposed increased in Service charge. Note: I will no longer suggest to friends or
neighbors that they add solar panels to their homes. "
