PAC-E-22-15 ORDER NO. 35843 On October 20, 2022, PacifiCorp d/b/a Rocky Mountain Power (“Company”), applied to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) requesting authorization to implement a residential rate modernization plan over a five-year transition period (“Residential Rate Modernization Plan”). Application at 1. On May 31, 2023, the Commission issued its final Order approving, with modifications, the Company’s Application to implement the Residential Rate Modernization Plan. Order No. 35802. On June 9, 2023, the Company submitted a compliance filing with new tariffs in response to Order No. 35802. Commission Staff (“Staff”) reviewed the tariffs, and confirmed the tariffs were consistent with Order No. 35802. The Commission now issues this Order approving the Company’s proposed tariffs. COMMISSION FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION The Commission has jurisdiction over this matter under Idaho Code §§ 61-502 and 61- 503. The Commission is empowered to investigate rates, charges, rules, regulations, practices, and contracts of public utilities and to determine whether they are just, reasonable, preferential, discriminatory, or in violation of any provision of law, and to fix the same by order. Idaho Code §§ 61-502 and 61-503. Having reviewed the tariffs filed by the Company in compliance with Order No. 35802, we find the tariffs comply with our directives. O R D E R IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Company’s tariffs are approved as filed, effective as of June 1, 2023. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date upon this Order regarding any ORDER NO. 35843 2 matter decided in this Order. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code §§ 61- 626.
