NOTICE OF AMENDED COMMENT
DEADLINES

ORDER NO. 35659

On August 17, 2022, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp (“Company”),
requested an order finding it prudently spent $10,039,507 on demand side management in 2020
and 2021.
On September 14, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and set an
intervention deadline for interested parties. Order No. 35530. No parties petitioned to intervene.
On November 4, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice of Modified Procedure setting a
January 12, 2023 public comment deadline and a January 26, 2023 Company reply deadline. Order
No. 35584.
At the Commission’s January 4, 2022, Decision Meeting, Staff recommended the
Commission vacate the comment deadlines set in Order No. 35584 and set new deadlines to allow
Staff adequate time to review Company responses to production requests that could not be filed
completely by the dates Staff requested. Staff noted that the requested extension would allow it
time to work with the Company to obtain and review necessary information for its comments. The
Company supported Staff’s request.
Based on these facts, we find it reasonable to vacate the existing comment deadlines and
issue this Notice of Amended Comment Deadlines.
NOTICE OF AMENDED COMMENT DEADLINES
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission finds is reasonable to vacate the
comment deadlines set in Order No. 35584 and set new deadlines to allow the parties adequate
time to review responses to production requests and file comments and reply comments.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that any person desiring to state a position on this
Application must file a written comment in support or opposition with the Commission by
February 23, 2023.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Company must file any reply comments by March
9, 2023.

O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the comment deadlines established in Order No. 35584
are vacated.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that interested persons must file any comments by February
23, 2023 and the Company must file any reply comments by March 9, 2023.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that parties comply with Order No. 35375, issued April 21,
2022. Generally, all pleadings should be filed with the Commission electronically and will be
deemed timely filed when received by the Commission Secretary. See Rule 14.02. Service between
parties should continue to be accomplished electronically when possible. However, voluminous
discovery-related documents may be filed and served on CD-ROM or a USB flash drive.
