On March 12,2021, Rocky Mountain filed an application requesting commission approval to increase rates for customers by approximately 7 percent. If approved, the average bill for a residential customer would increase by about $10.32 each month. On Oct. 25,2021, the parties to the case filed a proposed settlement stipulation supporting an increase in rates of 2.9 percent effective Jan. 1 , 2022. The parties also agreed to return remaining tax benefits associated with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to customers over a two-year period, for a net increase of 1.4 percent.
