SUBJECT:IN THE MATTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER'S APPLICATION
FOR AUTIIORITY TO INCREASE ITS RATES AI\D CHARGES IN
IDAHO AND APPROVAL OF PROPOSED ELECTRIC SERVICE
SCIIEDULES AND REGULATIONS; CASE NO. PAC-E-21-07.
On May 27,2021, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power ("Company") applied to the
Commission requesting authority to increase its Idaho jurisdictional revenue requirement by $19.0
million, or approximately 7.0 percent. The Company requests a July 1,2021, effective date.
On June 17,2021, the Commission issued a Notice of Application, a suspension of the
proposed effective date, and a Notice of Intervention Deadline. Order No. 35079. Bayer
Corporation ("Bayer"), Community Action Partnership Association of Idaho (*CAPAI"), Idaho
Conservation League ("ICL"), Idaho lrrigation Pumpers Association, Inc. ("IIPA"), and
PacifiCorp Idaho Industrial Customers ("PIIC") (collectively the "Intervenors") intervened in the
case.l
On August 24,2021, the Commission issued a Notice of Scheduling, Notice of Public
Workshop, Notice of Customer Hearing, and Notice of Technical Hearing. Order No. 35144. Order
No. 35144 established an October 20,2021 Staff and Intervenor prefile testimony deadline.
On October 14,2021, Staff field a motion to vacate the October 20,2021 Staff and
Intervenor prefile testimony deadline ("Motion"). The Motion indicates the Company, Staff,
Bayer, IIPA, and PIIC (the "Parties") have reached an agreement resolving the outstanding issues
I CAPAI and ICL have both filed motions to withdraw from this case. Those motions will go before the Commission
at its October 26,2021, decision meeting. Neither were involved in the settlement discussion

in this case. The terms of that agreement will be memorialized in a settlement agreement. The
parties plan to file the settlement agreement later which will require additional modification of the
procedural schedule. In the interim, the parties request that the Commission vacate the October 20,
2021 Staffand Intervenor Prefile testimony deadline.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staffrecommends that the Commission issue an order vacating the October 20,2021
Staff and Intervenor prefile testimony deadline.
