On May 27, 2021, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power (“Company”) applied to the
Commission requesting authority to increase its Idaho jurisdictional revenue requirement by $19.0
million. If granted, the Company’s request would increase overall customer rates by approximately
7.0 percent, with an average residential customer seeing an increase of about $10.32 per month.
The Company requests a July 1, 2021, effective date.
On June 17, 2021, the Commission issued a Notice of Application, a suspension of the
proposed effective date, and a Notice of Intervention Deadline. Order No. 35079. The Commission
suspended the proposed effective date of July 1, 2021, for the statutory maximum period of 30
days plus five (5) months pursuant to Idaho Code § 61-622(4). Bayer Corporation, Community
Action Partnership Association of Idaho, Idaho Conservation League, Idaho Irrigation Pumpers
Association, Inc., and PacifiCorp Idaho Industrial Customers (collectively the “Intervenors”)
intervened in the case.
Order No. 35079 directed Staff to informally confer with the parties to discuss
scheduling after the intervention deadline passed. In an August 13, 2021 decision memorandum,
Staff stated it conferred with the Intervenors and the Company (collectively, including Staff, the
“Parties”) and recommended a schedule for processing the case based on the Parties’ discussion.
The Commission considered Staff’s recommendation at its August 17, 2021 decision meeting.

With this Order, we adopt the proposed schedule for this case and schedule a technical
hearing at which the Parties may offer evidence and examine witnesses, and a customer hearing at
which customers and interested members of the public may testify before the Commission. We
also provide notice of a telephonic public workshop and prefiled testimony deadlines.

O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the procedural schedule proposed by the parties and
set forth in the above Notice of Scheduling is approved.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Commission Staff hold a telephonic, public,
informational, customer workshop on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 6:00 PM (MDT).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Commission will hold a telephonic customer
hearing at which customers and interested members of the public may testify on Monday,
November 15, 2021, at 6:00 PM (MST).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Commission will hold a technical hearing for the
parties to offer evidence and examine witnesses on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 9:30 AM
(MST). The telephonic technical hearing will continue Wednesday, November 17, 2021,
Thursday, November 18, 2021, and Friday November 19, 2021, if necessary.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that parties should continue to comply with Order No.
35058, issued June 3, 2021. All pleadings should be filed with the Commission electronically and
shall be deemed timely filed when received by the Commission Secretary. See Rule 14.02. Service
between parties should also be accomplished electronically. Voluminous discovery-related
