BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION

On March 10, 2021, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp (“Company”)
requested the Commission approve or reject a Power Purchase Agreement with Fall River Rural
Electric Cooperative (“Fall River”) for the purchase and sale of energy from the Chester Diversion
Hydro Project.
On March 25, 2021, the Commission issued a Notice of Modified Procedure and
established a May 4, 2021 public comment deadline and a May 18, 2021 reply comment deadline.
Order No. 34976. Fall River was granted party status on April 15, 2021. Order No. 34997.
Staff filed comments on May 4, 2021.
On May 13, 2021, Fall River filed a Motion for Extension of Time (“Motion”)
requesting seven more days to reply to Staff’s comments. Fall River asked for more time to develop
its response and communicate with the Company about its positions. The Company did not oppose
the Motion and requested that the additional period, if granted, apply to it as well. Staff took no
position on the Motion.
COMMISSION DECISION
Having reviewed the Motion, we find good cause to grant Fall River’s Motion for
Extension of Time to reply to Staff’s comments. No one opposed the Motion and granting seven
more days for Fall River and the Company to reply will not prejudice any party.
O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Fall River’s Motion for Extension of Time is granted.
The reply comment deadline of May 18, 2021 is vacated. The amended reply comment deadline
is May 25, 2021.
