Re:CASE NO. PAC.E.2O.I7
IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OR REJECTIONOF THE AMENDED POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEENPACIFICORP AI\D SUNNY BAR RANCH
NOTICE OF INTENT TO WITHDRAW APPLICATION
Dear Ms. Noriyuki:
Pursuant to Rule 68 of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission's Rules of procedure, RockyMountain Power hereby notifies the Commission of its intent to withdraw the above referencedapplication.
On November 23,2020,Rocky Mountain Power filed an application with the Idaho public UtilitiesCommission in the above referenced matter, requesting approval of a one-year extension of thecurrent contract. The conhact is scheduled to expire on April 3},202l,and Sunny Bar Ranch (.,theSeller") expressed a desire to continue to make sales fromthe facility to PacifiCorp consistent withthe requirements of the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of tgZg as implemented in the Stateof Idaho. However, at the time of the application the Seller was still in the process of securing anew stand-alone interconnection agreement and the Company did not know if the Seller wouldcomplete the necessary upgrades before the contract would expire; therefore an extension was filedto provide additional time for the Seller to complete the interionnection requirements.
Since filing the application, the Seller has secured the necessary interconnection agreementrequired for a new contract making this application unnecessary. Therefore, the dompanyrespectfully withdraws this application. Once the terms of the new contract are final the Companywill file a new application for approval or rejection of the new purchase power agreement.
