ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE 2OI9 INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN
Dear Ms. Hanian:
Please find enclosed an original and seven (7) copies of PacifiCorp's 2019 Integrated Resource
Plan ("2019 IRP"). Copies of the 2019 IRP are also available electronically on PacifiCorp's
("Company") website, at wwrv.pacificom.com/irp. The Company plans to supplernent this filing,
with data discs containing non-confidential and confidential workpapers on October 25,2019.
These discs will support and provide additional details for the analysis described within the
bound volumes of the document. Confidential information in the 2019 IRP and workpapers will
be available to state regulators and any party who has intervened in this case and signed a non-
disclosure agreement. PacifiCorp requests that interested parties contact the state manager listed
below for a copy of the non-disclosure agreement that must be executed and submitted prior to
obtaining a copy of the confidential information.
PacifiCorp respectfully requests that the Commission acknowledge the 2019 IRP in accordance
with its rules and fully support the 2019 IRP conclusions, including the proposed action plan.

PacifiCorp submits the 2019 IRP filing in compliance with Order No.22299, Case No. U-1500-
165, dated January 1989; whereby the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission")
ordered biennial filings of the electric integrated resource plan. This plan is also submitted to the
Commission as the Resource Management Report on the Company's resource planning status.
The 2019 IRP contains information outlining how PacifiCorp has addressed the Commission's
integrated resource planning requirernents (see Tables B.2 and B.4 in "Appendix B - IRP
Regulatory Compliance").
