Area Transport, Inc. and Jacob A. Owens dba Jake Owens Transportation applied for temporary motor common/contract carrier authority on 9-17 and 9-18, 1997.  
Because the next regularly-scheduled decision meeting of the Commission is October 8, 1997 and because applications for temporary authority need to be handled timely, the above-named temporary applications are hereby approved this date.
Therefore, Order Nos. 27148 in Case No. M-8328-1 and 27149 in Case No. M-8329-1 will subsequently be signed and issued.
