Credit lncreased
Rocky Mountain Power requests to increase customer credits.
On August lB,2017, Rocky Mountain Power asked the
ldaho Public Utilities Commission for authorization to
increase the credit qualifying residential or farm customers
receive under Electric Service Schedule No. 34 - Pacific
Northwest Electric Power Planning and Conservation Act
Residential and Farm Kilowatt-Hour Credit.
Currently Schedule 34 customers receive 0,7767 cents
per kilowatt-hour credit to theirs bills. lf approved this
credit would increase to 0.8403 cents per kilowatt-hour:
A typical residential customers using 800 kilowatt-hours
per month would see a decrease of $5,60 on their
annual electricity bill. The following is a summary of the
percentage impacts by customer class:
' Residential Schedule I -0.6% decrease
. Residential Schedule 36 - 0.7%decrease
. General Service Schedule 6A-0.8% decrease
. lrrigation Service Schedule lA -0.3% decrease
. General Service Schedule 23A. - 0.7% decrease
. Public Street LightinCTA- 0.2% decrease
The public can comment on the proposed rate change as
the commission reviews the application. The commission
must approve the proposed changes before they can
take effect. A copy of the application is available for
public review at the commission offices in Boise and
on the commission's homepage at www.puc.idaho.gov,
Customers may file written comments regarding the
application with the commission or subscribe to the
commission's RSS feed to receive periodic updates via
email aboutthe case. Copies of the proposal also are
available for review at the company's offices in Rexburg,
Preston, Shelley and Montpelier.
