On July 3,2017,Rocky Mountain Power applied for a certificate of public
convenience and necessity (CPCN)to construct or acquire four new wind projects with a total
combined capacity of 860 megawatts.The Company also requested CPCNs for several
transmission facilities associated with the Company's Gateway West transmission project.The
Company asserted that the project will provide significant economic benefits for the Company's
customers,and that the projects are time-limited due to federal production tax credits.
NOTICE OF SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that on WEDNESDAY,FEBRUARY 28,2018,
AT 9:30 A.M.(MST)IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM,472 W.
WASHINGTON,BOISE,IDAHO a Settlement Conference will be held for parties in this case.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission is not bound by any
settlement reached by the parties.The Commission will independently review any proposed
settlement to determine whether the settlement is just,fair and reasonable,and in the public
interest,or otherwise in accordance with law or regulatory policy.The Commission may accept
the settlement,reject the settlement,or state additional conditions under which the settlement
will be accepted.IDAPA 31.01.01.274-.276.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the settlement conference will be held in
facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Parties needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate
in the settlement conference may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or
other assistance:
