Pursuant to Rules 53 and 56 of the Rules of Procedure of the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission ("Commission"),Rocky Mountain Power hereby a)petitions the Commission to
extend the deadline for Company Pre-filed Rebuttal Testimony from December 8,2017 to
December 18,2017 (the "Petition")and b)moves the Commission to amend the schedule to change
the date of the technical hearing from April 6,2018 to March 12-14,2018 (the "Motion")for the
reasons set forth below.
In Order No.33862 issued August 30,2017,the Commission established the current
schedule in the case,as follows:
Staff/IntervenorPrefile Testimony November 20,2017
Company Prefile Rebuttal Testimony December 8,2017
Company Supplemental RFP Results January 16,2018
Staff/IntervenorRFP Testimony February 16,2018
Company RFP Rebuttal March 2,2018
Technical Hearing April 6,2018
With respect to the Motion, when Rocky Mountain Power and the parties in the case
convened to discuss a proposed schedule, the parties agreed to technical hearing dates of March
12-14,2018,as opposed to April 6,2018.The Company became aware of the erroneous date in
the Order approximately two weeks ago.Upon finding out, counsel for the Company contacted
the parties to alert them of the situation and obtained their permission to represent that they do not
oppose correcting the schedule to reflect the intent of the parties. Thus, the Company respectfully
requeststhat the Commission change the technical hearing date to March 12-14,2018,from April
6,2018.
With respect to the Petition,Rocky MountainPower respectfully requests an extension for
the deadline to file Company Pre-filed Rebuttal Testimony from December 8,2017 to December
18,2017 because additionaltime is needed due to the upcoming tight deadlines in November and
December in the Company's other related dockets. The Company likewise contacted the parties
and obtained their permission to represent that they do not oppose the requested extension.
WHEREFORE,Rocky Mountain Power respectfully requeststhat the Commission issue
an order extending the deadline of Company Pre-filed Rebuttal Testimony to December 18,2017,
and changing the date of the technical hearing to March 12-14,2018.
RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED,this 3rd day of November,2017.
