Dear <Customer Name>,?4t'E- lA'ots
We value you as a customer and want to keep you informed of proposed changes to the deposit
and advance payment requirements for schedule 10 irrigation service. Rocky Mountain Power
currently has an application pending before the Idaho Public Utilities Commission requesting
approval of the following modifications beginnin g in 2017:
o An advance payment may be required from existing customers who had a past due
balance of $25,000 or greater as of December 31't of the previous year. The advance
would be equal to the estimated monthly billings for the upcoming irrigation season.. Upon customer request, an in season review of the customer advance will be performed.. Any advance payment remaining at the end of the inigation season will first be applied to
any required deposit for the upcoming irrigation season before it will be refunded.
o d security deposit may be required from current or previous irrigation customers who
received two or more past due notices during the most recent irrigation season, or from
customers who were required to pay an advance payment for the previous irrigation
season. The deposit amount is equal to the two highest months of usage in the last two
inigation seasons.o As an alternative to payment of a customer advance or deposit these requirements may be
satisfied by guarantee of payment from a bank, financial institution, or guarantor
acceptable to the Company.
