SUBJECT: ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER’S APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF
THE 2017 INTER-JURISDICTIONAL COST ALLOCATION
PROTOCOL, CASE NO. PAC-E-15-16

On December 31, 2016, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power filed an Application
requesting Commission approval of the Company’s 2017 Inter-Jurisdictional Cost Allocation
Protocol. The Company asked the Commission to issue an Order by July 1, 2016. The
Commission then issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Intervention Deadline and
directed Staff to confer with the Company and any intervening parties about a proposed
schedule, and to report the proposed schedule to the Commission. Order No. 33458.
After the intervention deadline ran, Staff conferred with the Company and the sole
intervenor, Monsanto Company, about a proposed schedule. Staff now reports that all parties
agree that the case should be conducted by Modified Procedure, with comments due by May 23,
2016, and the Company’s reply (if any) due by June 6, 2016.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Modified Procedure setting a May 23,
2016 comment deadline and a June 6, 2016 reply deadline?
