Comment:Idaho Power is trying to stifle the development of clean energy here be it by
individuals or other companies by offering only short term contracts for it.There is great
potential for clean energy development here in Idaho but in order for such development to
proceed contracts need to be for a long term so that financing for such projects can be
secured.1d much prefer to pay for energy produced by in state clean energy providers (even
at a higher price)rather than out of state energy produced by coal.
