MONSANTO COMPANY,S JOINDER IN APPLICATION
COMES NOW Monsanto Company ("Monsanto") through counsel and hereby respectfully joins
in the Application of PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power ("Rocky Mountain Power" or "Company")
for approvalof the Electric Service Agreement (the "ESA") entered into between Rocky Mountain Power
and Monsanto. The ESA has been executed by the parties and was filed with the Commission for
approval as a part of the Stipulation in Case No. PAC-E-13-14. Upon approval by the Commission, the
ESA will become effective January 7,20L4, the date the current Electric Service Agreement will expire.
Monsanto concurs with and joins in the statements and representations made by Rocky
Mountain Power in its Application. While Monsanto has no objection to the Application being
processed under Modified Procedure, further notice and opportunity to comment appears to be
redundant and unnecessary because the Stipulation in Case No. PAC-E-13-04 included the new ESA
between Monsanto and Rocky Mountain Power, a notice of an opportunity to comment was provided in
that case and no comments were received, except for those of the Company and Staff in support of the
Stipulation and approval of Monsanto's new ESA.

Based on the foregoing, Monsanto respectfully requests that the Commission approve the
Application and issue an Order approving the proposed ESA between the Company and Monsanto
effective January t, 20L4.
