Dear Ms. Jewell, On May 14, 2012, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission staff provided an update to the adjustable rate portion of avoided costs for QF contracts using variable costs associated with Coistrip and for PacifiCorp contracts with 1992 amendments. Rocky Mountain Power has reviewed and agrees that the updated prices have been calculated correctly. The Company will utilize the new variable energy rates for existing contract deliveries commencing July 1, 2012 extending through June 30, 2013.
