Ths increase, if allowed, will be a burden on famlies already strapped by higher costs of living. Many families who have but a single wage earer and maybe are unemployed, have not had a cost of living raise for at least 2 years and maybe more. Senior citizens, who live on a fixed income have not received a cost of living raise for at least 2 years, due to the Governent's using the Deparent of Labr's Consumer Price Index to measure actu cost of living, which we feel is faulty. We all know the cost of food, clothg, gasoline, propane and other sources of heat, car and home repais, and medications have all risen substatially in the last 2 years. We urge you to decline ths increase to Rock Mounta Power Company. Council the Power Company and other utilities to live with their means, as the average citizen must do to make ends meet. Sincerely, Ronald and LaRue Curis 351 Bailey Creek Road Soda Springs, Idao, 83276 Jean Jewell From: Sent: To: Subject: mheed.panflute~gmail.com Tuesday, February 15, 2011 12:42 AM Jean Jewell; Beverly Barker; Gene Fadness PUC Comment Form A Comment from Marilyn Heed follows: - - ----- - --- -- - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- Case Number: PAC~f:-II-Q7 Name: Marilyn Heed Address: City~ idaho Falls State: Idaho Zip: Daytime Telephone: Contact E-Mail: mheed. panflute~gmail. com Name of Utility Company: Rocky MountainPower Acknowledge: acknowledge Please describe your comment briefly: Since I am on a fixed income with no cost of living increase for Social Security the past two years, high medical bills and everything else going up including food and gas, I can' t afford another increase. Regarding public street lighting, that is added to the property tax (which also went up last year as the homeowner i s exemption went down). I not only speak for myself but for other senior citizens in the same boat. I vote for NO increase in prices. Another rate increase? No way. How are people to afford it in this economy! This is craziness. Rate increase equals more people on govt. assistance. Every business owner has had a decrease in their profit margin. RMP shouldn' t be an exception. Really? ! . . . . . . UGH!
