Please describe your comment briefly:
In regards to the case involving Rocky Mountain Power dispatchable irrigation load control
program - Schedule 72A.
I appreciate the time that the PUC spends to review these comments and apply our concerns to
the decision process.
As an irrigator I have made several adjustments to our irrigation equipment and management
which has enables us to participate in the dispatch load program. It would be unfair at this
time to change the contract that they have in place. We are now just weeks away from another
irrigation season and our budgets and financing are in place for the 2811 season. We are
enrolled in the dispatch program and plan on recieving the credit for participation. Any
loss in this credit would have a dramatic change in our irrigation expense and ultimately in
our profit and loss.
All the equipment needed to continue the program is already installed there would be very
little benefit to Rocky Mountain Power to now remove that equipment. I hope that you will
hold Rocky Mountain Powere to the agreements that they have in place and allow a program that
will beni fit all irrigators.
Thank you,
Bryon L Reed
