I r m concerned about the purposed rate increase. That seems to be quite a steep raise. I
have not seen a raise for the last 3 years and in fact I was just laid off from my job, so I
wonder why we can even entertain a raise of such proportions. I think it would be more fair
to purpose a 1 or 2% raise. My power bill already seems to be quite steep. I wonder how
come in a state of economic times as we are now in that it can be a justifiable raise.
Please reconsider the amount of this increase. I don r t know how we can pay the purposed
increased.

Being 68 yrs old, on stagnant Social Security of $633.00 pm and rising medicare costs,
rising food costs, I cannot afford adi tional heating costs. This month bill was $328.16 and
this is only the first cold month of the winter. After suffering 3 heart attacks and damage
from anti A-Fib meds, I try to stay under the covers most of the day with the temp set at 60.
I am supposed to walk and excercise. Too cold. can i t walk outside on the snow and ice and no
place in Shelley to walk safely. They don't plow or shovel sidewalks here. RMP Co. begins
working on a new raise before they get the last one. We all have to cut back, the fat cats
should forgo another vacation home this year.
