I am very concerned about the rate request proposed by Rocky Mountain Power. I am on a fixed
income and I i m trying to understand who will give me the additional 15+ percent that I'll
need to pay my power bill if this rate increase goes into effect. I certainly understand that
there may be expenses ahead to build bigger and more cost effective facilities, but what I
dôn i t understand is why I have to pay for them. We have already been i robbed' by rate
increases that were supposed to take care of these things and here we are again! So, the game
simply is, every time Rocky mountain power runs a little low on money they just bring out the
same old song and dance. It would be really great to pass my own costs to some one but just
who would that be? Please consider those of us who can' t i pass costs along'. Thank you.

It seems completely ridiculous to even consider raising our electric rates during the
winter, during a significant economic downturn, and when many people are unemployed,
including our family's main provider. How are people who are barely making it, going to pay
extra for higher electricity rates? This is totally inconsiderate for the company to do at
such a bad time.

Does a 12-15% electric power rate increase mean that I too should consider increasing the
prices of my products (hay, Beef, barley) by 12-15% and thus reduce my market share or should
I just 'eat it', and put off my next machinery purchase (again)? Perhpas I could then aply
for some POWER COST PAYMENT ASSISTNCE PROGRAM!.
