I strongly feel that an 8% increase is inappropriate at this time. Our economy is
struggling along with every family at this time to just make ends meet, the majority are
slipping further in the hole of debt. Perhaps when paychecks are raised more than 2% and you
were considered 'lucky i to get that raise a rise in our utility bills could be handled
without having to make a trade off on which bill will be paid this month. I am very
appreciative of having the electricity available and realize a rate hike is probably overdue,
however, timing is everything.
