Please describe your comment briefly:
I understand that you are considering giving Rocky Mountain power an 8% rate raise in the
standard Residentail Service. May I remind you that according to our NATIONAL GOVERNMENT
there has been no inflation for the past two years!! Hence all of us who are retired and
Ii ving on fixed incomes have seen no raises in pay for two years!! How can you j usti fy an 8%
increase in our electric bill when we are already having to deal with other cost of living
increases (that the government says did not happen, i.e. food bills, heating expenses,
medical etc.).
Unfortuantly this non increase in cost of living has also applied to many of my neighbors who
have jobs but have not seen a cost of living adjustment in their pay for the last two years
ei ther. Their employers have not been able to give pay raises and in fact in many cases have
reduced the amount of hours the employee works in effect reducing their pay!
Do what is right for the public!
