My husband and I are retired and we have a fixed income. We are protesting the rate increase
because of our budget. I feel that if the power company needed to add new lines, they should
have had the means to pay for it. The government already took away our cost of living for two
years and now the power company wants more money from us also. What i s fair for the elderly
any way?

WHAT YOU'R ABLE TO GIVE AWAY TO HELP WITH SCHOLARSHIPS AND ETC. AND DECLARE TAX CREDITS WITH
THE MONEY YOU'VE TAKEN FROM US. WE ARE ON SOCIAL SECURITY, VERY LIMITED INCOME, WITH NO
INCREASES, EVERONE WANTS MORE BUT WE ARE DOING OUR BEST. THERE IS A LIMIT I AM VERY MUCH IN

I would like to make comments about the Rocky Mountain Power rate increase. First, I wou d
like to ask a question. What all is the increase going for? We have been informed that i
was for improvements. We have also heard that it is going to share holders to make their
shares more appealing. Second, what about all of us on social security who have not been
granted a cost of living increase for the last two year and could go without an increase f r
another two years? We personally have had family who have lost their jobs due to the
econcomy. Fortunatly, they have found new jobs but at a lower income, and have also been
denied increases for the last two years. We have high power bills as it is, and a rate
increase would put a strain on our financial resources . With the state of the economy, I 0
not feel that a big company like Rocky Mountain Power should be granted a rat increase at
this time. Thank you.
