their jobs and struggling to make ends meet. We struggle each month to pay all the bills and

I already pay over 150.00 a month for my electricity bill, during the winter months it goes
up over 200.00 a month. Do we really need to have a rate increase, when the price is already
out of control. Please try to find other ways to deal with your costs. When my paycheck
doesn't make it to the end of the month,I don't get to give myself a raise, why should you.

In regards to the proposed rate increase for Rocky Mountain Power, I feel that the company
should devote more time and resources to the restoration of its customers BPA power credits
before it is allowed to do any rate increase. The loss of that credit alone hit customer's
wallets significantly a few years ago. I realize that the BPA credit loss was not an increase
in rates or revenue for Rocky Mountain Power, however, until those are restored, it is
difficult to justify hurting the Idaho economy even more with such a large increase in
general rates. Many people cannot afford an increase of such magnitude in a time where they
are experiencing such large layoffs or paycuts. Thank you for your time.

I don i t believe this rate increase by Rocky Mountain Power is really necessary. They just had
a huge increase a couple of years ago when they got rid of the bonneville credit discount
east idaho customers were getting. Real wages in the state have also been dropping for the
last couple of years and this increase will place an unfair burden on most customers. Rocky
mountain power has to learn to tighten thier belt just like the rest of us.
