POWER FOR APPROV AL OF CHANGES TO )
ITS ELECTRIC SERVICE SCHEDULES ) ORDER NO. 32219
)
On February 28, 2011, the Commission issued Final Order No. 32196 in the above
titled case.
On March 7, 2011, in compliance with the aforementioned Commission Order,
PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power ("Rocky Mountain" or "Company"), filed Revised Tariff
Schedule 400 for Commission approval with a proposed effective date of March 1, 201 1. The
Revised Tariff Schedule 400 would replace the existing Schedule 400 approved by the
Commission on December 28,2010, and effective Januar 1,2011, per Order No. 32151.
Subsequent to the Company's Revised Tariff filing, both Monsanto and Rocky
Mountain filed Petitions for Clarification and Reconsideration which are currently pending
before the Commission. The Petitions raise certain issues that could affect the language or rates
contained in the Revised Schedule 400. Staff recommended that the Revised Schedule 400 be
suspended.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
The Commission has reviewed Rocky Mountain's tariff filing and considered Staffs
recommendation. The Commission finds that the suspension of the Revised Tariff Schedule 400
Filng, pursuant to Idaho Code §§ 61-622 and 61-623, until such time as the Commission issues
its Order on Reconsideration is fair, just and reasonable. The Commission finds that a
suspension of the tarff fiing for a period of 45 days wil allow the Commission to specifically
address the substantive issues pertaining to the rates and language of Schedule 400 presented in
the Petitions for Clarification and Reconsideration filed by Monsanto Company and Rocky
Mountain.
