Application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) for authority to change its
electric service schedules to reflect a proposed revenue increase of $27.7 million, or 13.7%.
Revised tariff schedules reflect a proposed effective date of June 28, 2010. Tariff Schedules 400
(Monsanto) and 401 (Nu-West) will remain unchanged pursuant to special contract with existing
service rates through year-end 2010.

electric service in Idaho to become effective on and after June 28, 2010.
The Commission will be unable to consider the Application before the proposed
effective date of June 28 , 2010, because of other demands on the Commission s time and
because of the complexity of the evidence and issues presented by the Application. The
Application is of sufficient importance to require the Commission s investigation of the
reasonableness of the proposed rates and charges.

Mountain Power and its Application in Case No. PAC-10-07 pursuant to Idaho Code, Title 61

the rates that are the subject of the Application for a period of thirty (30) days plus five (5)
months from the proposed effective date of June 28, 2010.
It is necessary to suspend the proposed rates for a period of thirty (30) days plus five

be presented in this matter and to consider and determine the issues presented in this Application.
