GNR-10- On April 12, 2010, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power caused to be filed with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) a Motion for the Limited Admission of Kenneth Kaufmann, Esq. in Case No. GNR-10-01 (reference Idaho Bar Commission Rule 222; IPUC Rules of Procedure 19 and 43.05). The local Idaho counsel filing the Motion is John R. Kormanik, Kormanik Hallam & Sneed LLP, 1099 S. Wells Street, Suite 120, Meridian, Idaho 83642. Kenneth Kaufmann certifies that he is an active member in good standing with the Bar of the State of Oregon and that he maintains a regular practice of law at Lovinger Kaufman LLP , 825 NE Multnomah, Suite 925, Portland, Oregon 97232. Mr. Kaufmann further certifies that he is not a resident of the State of Idaho or licensed to practice in Idaho and that he has not previously sought admission under mCR 222. Both Mr. Kaufmann and local counsel, Mr. Kormanik, certify that a copy of the Motion, accompanied by a $200 fee, has been provided to the Idaho State Bar. Mr. Kormanik acknowledges that as local counsel, his attendance shall be required at all proceedings before the Commission in which Mr. Kaufmann appears, unless specifically excused by the Commission. In this regard, John R. Kormanik respectfully requests that the Commission excuse him from having to appear during Commission proceedings in the above captioned matter unless needed by Rocky Mountain Power. Commission Findings The Commission has reviewed and considered the Motion for Limited Admission filed in Case No. GNR-10-01 and the related practice rules and Rules of Procedure, i., Idaho Bar Commission Rule 222 (Limited Admission - Pro Hac Vice) and Commission Rules of Procedure 19 and 43., IDAPA 31.01.01.019 and 043.05. ORDER NO. 31049 Based on the filings of record and certified representations of Mr. Kormanik and Mr. Kaufmann, we find that reasonable grounds have been demonstrated to justify the granting of limited admission of Mr. Kaufmann as legal counsel for PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power in Case No. GNR-lO-O1. We further find good reason to excuse the appearance of Mr. Kormanik in further proceedings in this docket unless needed by Rocky Mountain Power. CONCLUSIONS OF LAW The Commission has jurisdiction in Case No. GNR-IO-Ol and the Motion for Limited Admission filed by John R. Kormanik, local counsel , and Kenneth Kaufmann, applying counsel , pursuant to Idaho Code, Title 61 , and the Commission s Rules of Procedure 31.01.01.000 et seq. ORDER In consideration of the foregoing and as more particularly described above, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED and Kenneth Kaufmann is hereby granted limited admission in Case No. GNR-lO-OI as legal counsel for the applicant, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the attendance of John R. Kormanik is excused from all further proceedings in Case No. GNR-IO-OI unless needed by Rocky Mountain Power.
