MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING
November 26, 1996 - 1:30 p.m.
The November 26, 1996 Decision Meeting was an Emergency Decision Meeting to consider a Motion of the Building Contractors’ Association of Southwest Idaho for an extension of time to file direct testimony in United Water Case No. UWI-W-96-4 (filing date is currently December 5, 2996).
In attendance at this meeting were Commissioners Ralph Nelson and Dennis Hansen (Commissioner Smith was out of the office on this date); staff members Scott Woodbury, Randy Lobb and Myrna Walters;  and Sharon Ullman and Rebecca Forsee.
Commissioner Nelson called the meeting to order. Noted that the extension requested was from December 5, 1996 to January 6, 1997.
Scott mentioned that the response by United Water agrees to the extension and also asks that the scheduled prehearing conference in this matter be rescheduled. Said the prehearing date hadn’t been coordinated yet.
Commissioner Nelson said if the rescheduling of the prehearing is not done until after the January 6 extension, the Commission schedule could be tight. He would suggest rescheduling the prehearing fairly soon.
Scott said he had talked to Peter Richardson and Sharon Ullman and apparently the extension was okay with them.
Commissioner Hansen then made a motion that the “Motion” of the Building Contractors of SW Idaho be granted.   Commissioner Nelson said he would support that motion.
**Extension will be for all parties.
Rebecca Forsee speaking for Micron indicated that Micron was in support of the prehearing being held as scheduled to air the issues.
Commissioners suggested that the parties get together informally to discuss issues and timing.
Meeting was adjourned.
