Comments from those interested are being accepted through April 16. PacifiCorp, which does business as Rocky Mountain Power in eastern Idaho, is asking for a number of modifications to the program which gives credits to participating irrigators who voluntarily agree to reduce load during the irrigation season. One of the proposed changes would permit the company, at its discretion, to credit accounts rather than send checks to participating irrigators at the end of the season. Other changes would clarify how average demand is determined when at least two years of usage history is not available and also change the date that irrigators are notified of their inclusion in the program from February 15 to April 15. The commission plans to handle this request in a modified procedure that uses written comments rather than conducting a hearing, unless customer comments can demonstrate a need for a public hearing. Comments are accepted through April 16 via e-mail by accessing the commission’s homepage at http://www.puc.idaho.gov/www.puc.idaho.gov and clicking on "Comments & Questions."
