Washington Boise, ID 83702 Re: Rocky Mountain Power's Quarterly Energy Cost Adjustment Report Ms. Jewell: Please find enclosed for review three (3) copies of Rocky Mountain Power's 2012 second quarter Energy Cost Adjustment Mechanism (ECAM) report and a confidential CD containing the ECAM work papers. The Idaho Public Utilities Commission authorized implementation of an ECAM in Order No. 30904 to track and defer the difference between base net power costs, established in a general rate case, and actual net power costs incurred by Rocky Mountain Power to serve its Idaho customers. The Company has prepared a confidentiality agreement and provided Monsanto a copy for their signature as specified in Order No. 32597. This report will be circulated to any interested party once they have executed the confidentiality agreement.
