After the hearing I did some thinking on what I said during the hearing. I think I My not have hit to hard on the issue of rather some of the large power customers would survive the proposed rate increase. I would ask that when you look at this proposed settelment. You do it in the light of what possible economic damage it could do to this class of customer If it does cause them to cut back or cease operations it could cost the state economy and Rocky Mountain Power to suffer loss of customers in all class 's. One type of customer I know is having problems is the Potato Processing customer. The Basic American Plant in Shelly has already laid off workers becuase of production Cost. I also know that other plants are cutting their cost as well to try make it in these tough times. If these increase in rates cause more cutbacks it could hurt every class of customer of Rocky Mountain Power. It would also efect the entire Idaho Economy from farm Prices to tax revenues. Please keep this in mind when you look at this settelment The form submitted on http://www . puc. idaho. gov Iforms/ipuc1/ipuc . html IP address is 67.129.129.130 1
