Rocky Mountain recently filed for a rate increase of 4%. I feel this is not needed. We currently pay 10 cents for electricty while
Idaho Falls power is only paying 5 cents for electricty. I know this because I have called to see if there was any way to switch so that
I would not be paying outlandish rates. They do not need an increase. Their cost may be a bit higher, because they are purchasing
from Idaho Falls Power, but we already pay more than enough to cover those cost. If they can't run their business better, than maybe
we should be offered competitive companies to purchase our electricity from. Please do not pass this unneccessary rate increase. It
should be decreasing along with the Idaho Falls Power and Intermountain Gas.
