BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION
IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION
OF P ACIFICORP DBA ROCKY MOUNTAIN
POWER FOR APPROVAL OF CHANGES TO
ITS ELECTRIC SERVICE SCHEDULES
CASE NO. P AC-08-
ERRATA
ORDER NO. 30783
The Stipulation approved by the Commission in Order No. 30783 does not impact or
propose any changes to the rates of Monsanto Company and Agrium, Inc. The rates of
Monsanto and Agrium are controlled by a separate agreement approved in 2007, Order No.
30482, Case No. PAC-07-05. Order No. 30783 misstates the rate change for Agrium under
the prior agreement for year 2010.
Order No. 30783
, pp.
1 and 10 reads:
The rates of Monsanto and Agrium increased 3% on January 2009, and
will increase again 5% on January 2010.
Should read:
The rates of Monsanto and Agrium increased 3% on January 2009, and
will increase again 5% for Monsanto and 7% for Agrium on January
2010.
When reviewing Rocky Mountain Power s Order No. 30783 compliance tariffs
Commission Staff identified an error in the Company s temperature adjustments shown in RMP
Exhibit 30. When calculating rates, the Company mistakenly adjusted for the Rate Mitigation
Adjustment (tariff Schedule No. 94) which was cancelled January 2008 and which should not
have been included as part of the temperature adjustment revenues. The revenue impact of this
error causes the Company to undercollect $30 788 and $808 for Schedules 1 and 36
respectively, and overcollect $1 702 for Schedule 19. The total revenue impact of these errors
resulted in an undercollection in proposed rates of $29 894 compared to the $4 382 632 revenue
requirement the Commission authorized.
Staff has reviewed the change in the temperature adjustment revenues without the
Rate Mitigation Adjustment impact on the Company s previously filed and approved tariffs and
determined that the Company s newly submitted Schedules and 19 tariffs (those submitted
ERRATA TO
ORDER NO. 30783
with the Company s Petition for Clarification) accurately recover what was authorized by the
Commission in Order No. 30783. The corrected tariff schedules are approved effective the date
of this Errata.
A related change to the Commission s Order appears in Attachment A - Average
Stipulated Retail Rates for Idaho Customers ofPacifiCorp.
The Schedule 19 (Comm. & Ind. Space Heating) entry for proposed (~)/kWh reads:
91"
Should read:
83"
DATED at Boise, Idaho this I.t fA day of May 2009.
