P AC-O7- NOTICE OF SCHEDULING NOTICE OF HEARING On June 8, 2007, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power (PacifiCorp; Company) filed an Application for authority to increase the Company s general rates for electric service by an average of 10.3%. If approved, the Company revenues for electric base retail rates would increase by $18.5 million annually. The net amount of actual increase varies by class customer and usage. On June 29, 2007, the Commission issued Notices of Application and Intervention Deadline in Case No. PAC-07-05.Parties requesting and granted intervention were: Monsanto Company, Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, Inc., Agrium, Inc.Community Action Partnership Association of Idaho and Timothy J. Shurtz. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that pursuant to agreement of the parties and the Commission, the Commission has adopted the following procedural scheduling in this case: Deadline for prefiling direct testimony and exhibits - Staff and Intervenors Friday, September 28 2007 Deadline for prefiling rebuttal testimony and exhibits Thursday, October 25, 2007 The prepared testimony and exhibits must conform to the requirements of Rules 231 , 266 and 267 of the Commission s Rules of Procedure. Reference IDAPA 31.01.01.231 and .266-267. The above deadlines are for testimony and exhibit filing with the Commission. E-copy service on parties of record should be made on the same date to the extent practicable with full service of testimony and exhibits provided to parties of record no later than the following business day. NOTICE OF SCHEDULING NOTICE OF HEARING The parties are apprised that discovery is available pursuant to Commission Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.221-234. The parties should coordinate discovery requests and responses so that they are able to comply with the established prefile deadlines. No party submitting testimony pursuant to prefile deadline shall be required to respond to discovery within a five working day window preceding the prefile deadline. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a technical hearing in Case No. PAC-07-5 commencing at 9:30 A.M. TUESDAY. NOVEMBER 6. 2007 AT THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM. 472 WEST WASHINGTON. BOISE. IDAHO and continuing if necessary on November 7 and November 8, 2007 at the same location. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that an additional scheduling notice for public workshop(s) and public hearing(s) in eastern Idaho will be issued later. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held pursuant to the Commission s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and that the Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be conducted pursuant to the Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAP A 31.01.01.000 et seq. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and prehearing conferences in this matter will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing.
