Comment description: I'm happy to hear that the sale of PacifiCorp has been completed. I
wi tnessed the rape of Pacificorp at the hands of Scottish Power. It is good news to hear
my electric utility is no longer under their control.
As for the reported upcomming rate hearings, 1'm sure that the commission will be a
dillegent watch dog in protecting the Idaho electric consumer.
I have been a Utah Power customer on Rate 36 for over twenty three years. This is a great
rate which encurrages al ternati ve energy consumption and energy budgeting. Again I wish to
raise the question of the basic $12.56 charge which is bundled into this rate. As the next
rate case comes up for review, please also review this charge which I know to be out datedand no longer justifyed.
