PUBLI C HEARINGS
On September 6, 2005 , PacifiCorp dba Utah Power & Light Company (PacifiCorp)
filed an Application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) requesting
approval of a suite of energy efficiency and demand-side management (DSM) programs for its
commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential customers in the State of Idaho. The
Company also requests approval of an associated cost recovery mechanism and related deferred
accounting authorization.
On September 30, 2005 , the Commission issued Notices of Application, Public
Workshops, Public Hearings, Modified Procedure and Comment Deadline. The Notice of Public
Hearings scheduled two public hearings for November 7 2005 in Rexburg, Idaho and November
, 2005 in Preston, Idaho.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Commission scheduling requires that the
public hearings in eastern Idaho for the purpose of receiving public testimony be rescheduled and
in accordance therewith, the Commission issues the following amended scheduling:
The first public hearing will commence on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2005
AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE ROBINSON BUILDING, 186 W. 2ND N., PRESTON, IDAHO
second public hearing for the purpose of receiving public testimony will
commence on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2005, AT 7:00 P.M. AT THE BEST
WESTERN COTTONTREE, 450 W. 4TH STREET, REXBURG, IDAHO
YOU ARE FUTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held
pursuant to the Commission s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and that the
Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be
conducted pursuant to the Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and workshops in this matter
will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other
assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing
may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing.
The request for assistance must be received at least five (5) working days before the hearing by
