Wind LLC. I Tory Talbot strongly oppose this application. I have written to you before inopposi tion and after review of the current application have not changed my point of view.I have done extensive research on wind farms this research has led me to the conclusion
that the proposed wind farm by Schwendiman wind LLC is not a profitable venture. Windfarms are at best 20 percent effiecent. Wind generated power is more costly to produce
than almost every other conventional type of enery production. I believe that before this
application is approved there should be a period of time to see whether the Wolverine
Creek energy LLC proj ect proves to be sucessful. With wind farm proposals popping up all
over the country, it would be only prudent to know for a fact that these are cost
effective and not just a another rate increase that will be passed on to the consumer. There is no doubt that wind farms through government grants and low interest goverment
loans and tax incentives as well as power purchasing aggreements are a great deal for the
wind farm owner or corporation, however, I do not believe that this proposal is in the
best interest of the consumers of Pacificorp.
