Dear Ms. Jewell:
On March 14 2006, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission ) issued an
order in the above-captioned proceeding granting approval of the acquisition of
PacifiCorp by MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company. Although the order did not
provide any post-closing notification requirement, the Applicants are notifying the
Commission as a courtesy that the consummation of the transaction authorized by the
Commission occurred on March 21, 2006.
