Comment description: With the outlook for the future indicating that the electricity
needs of Idaho are only going to increase , it seems inappropriate that any public utility
is seeking permission to sell off a power generating facility under any circumstance. Why
is it that none of the other owners is wanting to sell or close the facility? The only
way PacifiCorp ought to be allowed to remove this facility from its portfolio of power
sources is under the condition that it commits to an equal generating capacity from
another source. If it wants to get rid of this source , maybe the Commision could suggest
that it comes back with a proposal to replace this power source with a wind power contractsource.
