MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING
March 25, 1996 - 1:30 p.m.
In attendance at this time were Commissioners Ralph Nelson, Marsha H. Smith and Dennis Hansen and staff members Don Howell, Gary Richardson, Tonya Clark, Ron Law, Syd Lansing, Joe Cusick, Bill Eastlake, Bev Barker, Stephanie Miller and Myrna Walters. Also in attendance was Jeanette Bowman of Idaho Power Company and Jim Wozniak of U S West.
Matters on the March 25, 1996 Published Agenda were discussed and acted upon as follows.
1. Regulated Carrier Division Agenda dated March 25, 1996.
   Commissioner Hansen made a motion to approved the RCD agenda; Commissioner Smith seconded the motion and Commissioner Nelson concurred.
2. Don Howell and Myrna Walters’ March 19, 1996 Decision Memorandum re: Rescinding Outdated Minute Orders Appointing Various Individuals to the Position of Assistant Commission Secretary.
   Was discussion on whether or not this should be handled by regular order, minute entry, or Minute Order, as in the past. Commissioners asked staff to work it out; purpose was to clear up old records.
3. Don Howell’s March 22, 1996 Decision Memorandum re: American Heritage’s Motion to Withdraw its Complaint against Idaho Power Company; Case No. IPC-E-95-13.
   Approved Motion to Withdraw Complaint - order will be issued.
4. Don Howell’s March 22, 1996 Decision Memorandum re: U S West’s Motion to Withdraw the AFOR Proposal and Staff’s Response, Case No. USW-S-95-4.
    After brief discussion, decision was made to vacate the hearing and grant the motion.
5. Jim Long’s March 21, 1996 Decision Memorandum re: Garden Valley Petition for Toll Relief to Idaho City and Boise.
   Commissioners okayed opening a new case number and starting an investigation into this matter.
Meeting was then adjourned.
