RE: IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF PACIFICORP dba UTAH POWER & LIGHT COMPANY FOR A DEFERRED ACCOUNTING ORDER. CASE NO. PAC-E-00-5.
On December 7, 2000, the Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, Inc. (hereinafter “IIPA”) filed a Petition to Intervene into PAC-E-00-5. This case stems from PacifiCorp’s November 1, 2000, Application filed with the Commission requesting a deferred accounting order.
BACKGROUND
IIPA states in its Petition that its members have a direct and substantial interest in this proceeding and intend to participate in this matter. IIPA further states that without the opportunity to intervene they would be without means to participate in the resolution of issues which may result in changes in rates for electric service. Accordingly, IIPA requests that this Commission grant it leave to intervene into this proceeding and thus the right to appear and participate in all matters as may be necessary and appropriate.
Commission Decision:
Should IIPA’s Petition to Intervene into PAC-E-00-5 be granted?
