Please find enclosed the original and nine (9) copies, along with a CD, of PacifiCorp's 2011
Integrated Resource Plan (2011 IR). Copies of the 2011 IR ar also available electronically
on PacifiCorp's website, at ww.pacificorp.com.
PacifiCorp submits the 2011 IR fiing in compliance with Order No. 22299, Case No. U-1500-
165, dated Janua 1989; whereby the Idao Public Utilties Commission (Commssion) ordered
biennal filings of the electrc integrated resource plan. Ths plan is also submitted to th
Commission as the Resource Management Report on the Company's resource plang status.
The 2011 IR contans information outling how PacifiCorp has addressed the Commssion's
integrated resource plang requirements (see Table B.2 "Appendix B - IR Reguatory
Compliance").
The 2011 IR fuly complies with the resource plang requiements in the Commission's rues,
and the Company respectfly requests tht the Commssion acknowledge the 2011 IRP in
accordance with those rules and fuly support the 2011 IR conclusions, including the proposed
action plan. At a later date, the Company will be providing a supplement to ths 2011 IR that
will include results of the followig additional studies (1) energy effciency avoided cost study
( decrement analysis), and (2) additional Energy Gateway transmission anysis.
