IPC-E-97-12 NOTICE OF ORAL ARGUMENT YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that on February 27, 1998, the Industrial Customers of Idaho Power (ICIP) filed a Motion to Dismiss Idaho Power’s Application filed in this case on November 26, 1997, seeking authority to increase the Company’s rates and charges to recover demand side management/conservation expenditures. Also on February 27, 1998, Micron Technology , Inc. (Micron) filed a Motion to Dismiss Idaho Power’s Application as well.  On March 6, 1998, the Rate Fairness Group (RFG) filed a Motion to join in the Motions of the ICIP and Micron to dismiss Idaho Power’s Application. On March 6, 1998, Idaho Power filed a Motion to utilize the Company’s net 1997 revenue sharing amount as a reduction to its Idaho demand side management balance.  Finally, on March 19, 1998, Idaho Power filed a Motion for an order compelling the ICIP to respond to the Company’s first set of production requests. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that, pursuant to the Commission’s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01, the deadline to respond to each of the aforementioned Motions has expired.   YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct an ORAL ARGUMENT for the purpose of hearing argument on all of the aforementioned Motions ON TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 1998, COMMENCING AT 9:30 A.M., AT THE OFFICES OF THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION, 472 WEST WASHINGTON STREET, BOISE, IDAHO 83702.
