RE: CASE NO. IPC-E-95-9: SETTLEMENT DISCUSSIONS

Dear Party:

Pursuant to scheduling conflicts with Pacificorp and the Company s written request of November
30, 1995, I am hereby proposing an amendment to the time table previously established in my letter
to you of November 20, 1995. The new schedule is as follows. All parties wishing to submit
comments or pose questions to the Commission Staff regarding the Staff s proposal included with
the November 20 letter may do so on or before December 22, 1995. Staff will respond to any
inquiries as quickly as possible. The settlement meeting previously scheduled for December 18,
1995, will be moved to Wednesday, January 3, 1996, commencing at 10:00 A.M., at the offices of
the Idaho Public Utilities Commission. The parties should anticipate spending the entire day on
this matter.

As I m sure you can all appreciate, scheduling matters such as this is challenging. If you have a
