On March 9, 1992, the Idaho Power Company filed an Application for
authority to sell its turbine electric generator located near Hailey, Idaho near its
Wood River Substation.
On April 2, 1992, this Commission issued a Notice of Application
establishing a deadline for the filing of Petitions to Intervene and comments in
response to Idaho Power's Application of Monday, April 27 ,1992.
On April 23, 7992, the Commission Staff filed a Motion to extend the
written comment and intervention on filing deadline to Monday, May It, 1992.
Staffs reason for seeking an extension of time in which to file written comments
is that the Staff member who will file the comments in Case No. IPC-E-92-9 is
currently filing testimony in two other cases before the Commission and needs
more time to prepare for the case at hand. Idaho Power has indicated that it has
no objection to Staffs Motion. No other persons have yet petitioned to intervene
or filed written comments in this case.
WE HEREBY grant Staffs Motion. The filing deadline for written
comments in resporrse to Idaho Power's Application, and for Petitions to
Intervene, shall be extended to Monday, May 1L, 1992.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the filing deadline for written
comments and Petitions to Intervene in response to the Company's Application in
Case No. IPC-E-92-9, originally scheduled for April 27, L992, is hereby extended
to Monday, May 1L,1992.
